Yes, you can use the Dyson Airstrait™ to touch-up and refresh your style from dry. To use on dry hair, select Dry mode and choose between the pre-set temperatures, depending on your hair type and intended style.
Your Dyson Airstrait™ will enter auto-standby after five minutes of inactivity when the arms are left open, or three minutes if the arms are locked. The LCD screen will turn off and you'll need to press the power button to turn the machine back on.
To maintain optimum performance, your Dyson Airstrait™ straightener needs regular care and maintenance. We recommend cleaning the filter once a month. Debris should be wiped from the outer filter cage and from the inner filter mesh using a soft, dry cloth.
Unlike conventional straighteners that use solid plates, the Dyson CorraleTM straightener is the only straightener that uses flexing plates to shape and gather hair, enabling enhanced styling with less heat. The Dyson Corrale™ straightener has a Flight-ready feature that disconnects the battery and is designed to adhere to International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) regulations.⁴ Please always check with your airline before you fly and place your Dyson Corrale™ straightener in your carry-on luggage. It also has universal voltage, so you can charge it while you're abroad.
Stricter regulations in Japan mean you will not be able to fly in or out of any Japanese airports with your straightener.⁴
From full charge, you can achieve up to 30 minutes cord-free styling3 with the Dyson CorraleTM straightener. Exact run time depends on your hair type and styling habits. A full charge takes just 70 minutes.
To maximize your run time, place your straightener on the charging dock when not in use and in between styling sections. The OLED screen and chime will indicate that your machine is charging properly.
We recommend always beginning with 100% charge for maximum run time.
